The Earl Grey, gentleman of the tea world, is both familiar and welcoming. Our hand crafted version of this classic blend uses the finest 100% organic and biodynamic Ceylon tea from the Koslanda Tea Estate, Sri Lanka. Scented with natural bergamot oil and sprinkled with orange segments. Blue cornflowers accent the rich black leaves and the vibrant amber hued- brew produces a fragrant yet refreshing finish of citrus. It’s royally good!

 

  • 100% Organic Ceylon tea, natural bergamot oil, organic orange segments and wild crafted blue cornflowers

    Origin: Koslanda, Sri Lanka
  • Water temperature is vital to achieving best flavour from your tea! Black tea, the strongest of them all, can cope with the highest temperatures. Deep and dark yet bright and clear.
    • 1 tsp per 250ml
    • 100 degree Celsius (Bring cold spring water to a boil and pour into a teapot. Add tea leaves immediately).
    • Brew 3-5 minutes (Brew longer if desired). Try it with a dash of milk or plain with a slice of lemon.
  • The cool and misty mountains of the Koslanda Tea Gardens is located in the southern part of Sri Lanka’s Uva District. Koslanda made the change to 100% Organic and biodynamic production in 1992 and is also committed to building a clean and healthy environment for its 596 workers and their families.

    Through Fair Trade tea sales, the tea plantation as been able to offer its people transportation to the hospital, re-roofing of homes as well as scholarships for higher education. Sewing machines and gas cookers have also been purchased for the community.
